Second Training Program on ISO based Quality Management Systems for trainees from EFMHACA, Ethiopia

The closing of year 2017 and beginning of 2018 saw further strengthening of our bonding with EFMHACA, Ethiopia in areas of quality management. This year three training programs were organized back to back on topics ranging from Food Safety Auditing , ISO: 9001,17020 and 17025, Laboratory Risk Management and Laboratory Lean Management.

Eight participants including high ranking officials from the Ethiopian regulatory body registered for the program which was conducted from 15th – 26th Jan,2018. Implementation of guidelines prescribed by ISO on Laboratory management is an absolute necessity for sustained growth of testing laboratories and keeping this in view the next batch of 8 persons was nominated to attend the training in about 2 months time.

The interaction led to fruitful learning experience which covered sharing of day to day experiences in laboratory operations.

Dr Deepak Bhanot is a seasoned professional having nearly 30 years expertise beginning from sales and product support of analytical instruments. After completing his graduation and post graduation from Delhi University and IIT Delhi he went on to Loughborough University of Technology, UK for doctorate research in analytical chemistry. His mission is to develop training programs on analytical techniques and share his experiences with broad spectrum of users ranging from professionals engaged in analytical development and research as well as young enthusiasts fresh from academics who wish to embark upon a career in analytical industry.
